Thank you for coming into the office an obtaining your building permit for the
renovations at your building on Daisy Bates.
am enclosing a copy of the guidelines for your review. Any exterior work that is
done to the house needs to be reviewed either by Staff or by the Commission.
On page 96 and 97 of the book is a chart of all types of renovations and whether
they do or do not need a COA or building permits. (A COA is a Certificate of
Appropriateness that requires a public hearing.) New windows and/or doors
require a COA.
