SUBJECT: Window Changes for 308 E. 14th
Under "New & Old Business" on the LRHDC agenda meeting, there is a requested window
change at 308 East 14th Street. Owner Chris Pratt's original request was to repair the structure's
windows and install storm windows over them; this was approved conditionally. During the
rehab process, it was discovered that the windows were more severely deteriorated than
originally thought.
Pratt is requesting that the vinyl window type, as presented, be installed. The specifications are
attached for your review; and a sample window is available for inspection. Pratt plans to attend
this meeting along with the contractor and window supplier. Due to the structure's location and
the degree of vulnerability to the exterior (weather, vandals, etc.), the LRHDC is encouraged to
decide on the windows so the structure can be enclosed, secured and work can proceed.
