This property is within the MacArthur Park Local Ordinance Historic District and is subject to all rules and regulations of that district. Please accept this letter as formal notice that the new signs at 200 E 13th Street were installed in violation of state law requiring that a Certificate of Appropriateness ("COX) be obtained prior to making alterations to a structure located in a local ordinance historic district. Our records indicate that signs were installed without a current sign permit and were installed in violation of this COA requirement. You received a stop work order to cease all construction activity at _ Street until your building permit is renewed. To bring your property into compliance with state law, you must either restore the original materials to the structure or obtain a COA from the Little Rock Historic District Commission by filing an application and fulfilling all requirements thereof.
