Project Description with Conditions listed:
1) Brick Repair on two chimneys
a) Remove existing bricks and replace in same pattern as
existing. See photo on right.
b) Add additional bricks as needed to repair chimney. New
bricks should match existing or be placed in the least
conspicuous location possible.
c) Use Type N mortar with joint to match existing.
d) Flashing to be copper installed in step pattern in the mortar
joints of the masonry.
2) Reconstruction of Third Chimney
a) Add additional bricks as needed to repair chimney. New
bricks should match existing.
b) Use Type N mortar with joint to match existing.
c) Flashing to be copper installed in step pattern in the mortar
joints of the masonry.
3)
Roofing
a) Remove multiple layers of asphalt roofing and/or additional layers of roofing materials.
b) Repair decking with boards of same thickness, (plywood, chipboard, or 1x boards for decking.)
c) Reroof with architectural shingles.
i) No changes will be made to the roof pitches, gables, or valleys.
d) Install ridge vent as needed.
