RESOLUTION NO. 12,433
A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A
CONTRACT WITH GLOVER'S TRUCK PARTS AND EQUIPMENT FOR THE
PURCHASE OF SEVEN (7) 28CY SIDE LOAD REFUSE TRUCKS; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Solid Waste Collection Department is in need of seven (7) 28cy Side Load Refuse
Trucks, and
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock received bids for the purchase of the seven (7) 28cy Side
Load Refuse Trucks and the lowest responsible and responsive bid was received from Glover's Truck
Parts and Equipment in the amount of One Million, Three Hundred Twenty Thousand, Eight Hundred
Twenty -three Dollars ($1,320,823.00);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract
with Glover's Truck Parts and Equipment for the purchase of seven (7) 28cy Side Load Refuse Trucks for
the amount of One Million, Three Hundred Twenty Thousand, Eight Hundred Twenty -three Dollars
($1,320,823.00).
Section 2. Funds for this purchase are to be allocated from Acct. #603110- 72300.
Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause,
phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such
declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain
in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not
originally a part of the resolution.
Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are
inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such
inconsistency.
