A RESOLUTION TO RATIFY AN APPOINTMENT TO THE
ARKANSAS ARTS CENTER BOARD OF TRUSTEES; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The following named person is hereby appointed as a member of the
Arkansas Arts Center Board of Trustees:
Rush Harding, appointed to serve the unexpired term left vacant by George
Gleason, said term expiring on June 30, 2008.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.

Chief Executive Officer
Rush F. Harding, III graduated from Clarendon High School in
Clarendon, Arkansas in 1972. He originally attended the United States
Military Academy at West Point, New York before graduating with a
Bachelors of Science degree in math and english from the University of
Central Arkansas with honors in 1976.
As a student at UCA, he was a member of the men's basketball team, a
member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, and a member of the Wesley
Foundation.
Upon graduation he joined T. J. Raney & Sons and in 1979 along with
Adron Crews and five other partners founded the investment banking
firm known as Crews & Associates. He served Crews as Executive Vice
President from 1979 to 1996. He was named President in 1996 and
Chief Executive Officer in 2000.
He serves on the board of First Security Bancorp. He is a President and
a board member of the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame. He has served as
a board member of Pulaski Academy and the University of Central
Arkansas for over a decade. He is a member of the First United
Methodist Church in Little Rock.
His parents are Rush (Buddy) Harding, Jr. and Martha Stone Harding.
He is married to Linda Turner Harding and they have three children:
Shaylea (23), Rush IV (21), and Payne (19).
