HomeMy WebLinkAbout124471 RESOLUTION NO. 12,447 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO SET MARCH 6, 2007, AS THE DATE OF HEARING ON THE 4 PETITION TO ABANDON THE WEST 15 FEET OF THE POLK STREET RIGHT - 5 OF -WAY (15 FEET BY 140 FEET), LOCATED ADJACENT TO LOT 14, BLOCK 6 8, NEWTON'S ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER 7 PURPOSES. 8 9 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the Board of Directors 10 vacate and abandon the West 15 feet of the Polk Street right -of -way (15 feet by 140 feet) located 11 adjacent to Lot 14, Block 8, Newton's Addition to the City of Little Rock, pursuant to its general police 12 power authority under Ark. Code Ann. 514 -54 -104. 13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE 14 ROCK, ARKANSAS: 15 Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above - mentioned right -of -way shall 16 be held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Board Room of City Hall 17 at six o'clock on the 6th day of March, 2007. 18 Section 2.
