3 A RESOLUTION TO SET MARCH 6, 2007, AS THE DATE OF HEARING ON THE
4 PETITION TO ABANDON A PUBLIC RIGHT -OF -WAY, LOCATED IN THE SEI /4
5 NW' /4 AND NEIA SWIA OF SECTION 7, T -1 -N, R -13 -W, PORTIONS OF COOPER
6 ORBIT ROAD AND RUSHMORE AVENUE, IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND
7 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the Board of Directors
10 vacate and abandon a public right -of -way, located in the SE 1/4 NW 1/4 and NE Ya SW 1/4 of Section 7, T -1-
11 N, R -13 -W, portions of Cooper Orbit Road and Rushmore Avenue, in the City of Little Rock, pursuant to
12 its general police power authority under Ark. Code Ann. §14 -54 -104.
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
14 ROCK, ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above - mentioned right -of -way shall
16 be held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Board Room of City Hall
17 at six o'clock on the 6th day of March, 2007.
18 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner
19 prescribed by law by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in
20 Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
