Home My WebLink About16855 1 RESOLUTION NO. 16,855 2 3 A RESOLUTION RESCINDING THE LITTLE ROCK PLANNING 4 COMMISSION'S ACTION IN APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE 5 PERMIT TO ALLOW A MENTAL HEALTH AND THERAPUTIC 6 COMMUNITY FACILITY ON THE 0-3 ZONED PROPERTY 7 LOCATED AT 9621 TALL TIMBER BOULEVARD; AND FOR 8 OTHER PURPOSES (Z-10188). 9 10 WHEREAS,the application was filed for a conditional use permit to allow a mental health and 11 therapeutic community facility on the 0-3 zoned property located 9621 Tall Timber Boulevard. 12 WHEREAS,the Little Rock Planning Commission,at its August 14,2025,meeting, approved the 13 conditional use permit application with a vote of nine(9)ayes,one(1)nay,and one(1)absent; and 14 WHEREAS,the Planning Commission's action has been appealed to the Board of Directors of the 15 City of Little Rock,Arkansas; and 16 WHEREAS,the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock,Arkansas had determined that the 17 Little Rock Planning Commission's action in approving said conditional use permit to be inappropriate. 18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS 19 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. 20 Section 1. The action of the Little Rock Planning Commission in approving a conditional use 21 permit to allow a mental health and therapeutic community facility on the 0-3 zoned property located at 22 9621 Tall Timber Boulevard is hereby rescinded and said conditional use permit is hereby denied. 23 Section 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption. 24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title,section,paragraph item. sentence,clause,phrase,or 25 word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 26 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and 27 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the 28 ordinance. 29 Section 4. Repealed.
