3 A RESOLUTION TO AMEND LITTLE ROCK,ARK., RESOLUTION NO.
4 16,817 (SEPTEMBER 16, 2025) TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER
5 TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT AMENDMENT WITH SAMSARA, INC.,
6 IN AN ANNUAL AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED TWO HUNDRED
7 SEVENTY-SEVEN THOUSAND, FOUR HUNDRED THIRTY-SIX
8 DOLLARS ($277, 436.00), PLUS A FIFTEEN (15%) PERCENT
9 CONTINGENCY, TO OUTFIT CITY VEHICLES IN THE CITY'S FLEET
10 SERVICES DEPARTMENT WITH IN-CAR GPS AND CAMERAS
11 HARDWARE AND LICENSES FOR A TERM OF FOUR (4) YEARS; AND
12 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

14 WHEREAS,the Fleet Services Department has identified the need to update in-car GPS and camera
15 hardware currently installed in vehicles in the City Fleet Services Department; and,
16 WHEREAS, pursuant to Little Rock,Ark Resolution No. 16,677 (May 6, 2025) as amended, vendor
17 selection of Samsara, Inc.,was made utilizing Sourcewell Contract 020221-SAM; and,
18 WHEREAS,the total annual cost to extend the License Agreement with Samsara,Inc.,for In-car GPS
19 and Camera hardware, is not to exceed Two Hundred Seventy-Seven Thousand Four Hundred Thirty-Six
20 Dollars($277,436.00)plus a fifteen percent(15%)contingency to allow for additional units and cameras,
21 for the period of four(4)years.
22 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
23 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS;
24 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract amendment with Samsara, Inc., in
25 an annual amount not to exceed Two Hundred Seventy-Seven Thousand Four Hundred Thirty-Six Dollars
26 ($277,436.00)plus a fifteen(15%) contingency for In-car GPS and Camera hardware and licensing, for a
27 period of four(4)years.
28 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in Fleet Parts,Account No. 60001 3-632 1 1.
29 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
30 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
31 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
32 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
33 resolution.

1 Section 4.Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
2 this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
