Home My WebLink About16849 1 RESOLUTION NO. 16,849 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH LANDSCAPE STRUCTURES, INC., IN AN 5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED TWENTY-TWO THOUSAND, FIFTY- 6 THREE AND 31/100 DOLLARS($122,053.31),PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES 7 AND FEES, TO REPLACE MURRAY PARK PLAYGROUND ECLIPSE 8 PLAY NET STRUCTURE AND ASSOCIATED COMPONENTS; AND FOR 9 OTHER PURPOSES. 10 11 WHEREAS, the existing Play Net at Murray Park Playground is at the end of its lifecycle and thus 12 there is a need for the playground component to be replaced; and, 13 WHEREAS, pursuant to Little Rock, Ark. Resolution No. 16,603 (February 18, 2025), as amended, 14 vendor selection of Landscape Structures, Inc., was made utilizing Sourcewell cooperative purchasing 15 agreement Contract Nos. 010521 & 010721;and, 16 WHEREAS,the total cost of this purchase is in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Twenty-two 17 Thousand Fifty-Three and 31/100 Dollars($122,053.31), including applicable taxes and fees. 18 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 19 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 20 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Landscape Structures, Inc., in 21 an amount not to exceed One Hundred Twenty-two Thousand Fifty-Three and 31/100 Dollars 22 ($122,053.31), including applicable taxes and fees, to replace the Murray Park Playground Play Net and 23 associated components. 24 Section 2. Funding is available from Park Bond Funds Account No. 332459-B45D018. 25 Section 3.Severability. In the event any title, paragraph, item, sentence,clause,phrase,or word of this 26 resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall 27 not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion 28 so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the resolution. 29 Section 4.Repealer.
