3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH AMERICAN FIRE PROTECTION GROUP,
5 INC., IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED FIFTY-EIGHT THOUSAND,
6 TWO HUNDRED SEVENTY-SIX AND 60/100 DOLLARS ($58,276.60),
7 PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES, FOR THE PURCHASE OF
8 MOBILE PRO SYSTEMS FALCON 3100 MOBILE SURVEILLANCE UNIT
9 FOR LITTLE ROCK POLICE DEPARTMENT'S REAL-TIME CRIME
10 CENTER;AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

12 WHEREAS,it is essential that the Little Rock Police Department("LRPD")be equipped with reliable
13 tools and equipment for its patrol units,ensuring officers in the field have access to crucial real time access
14 to the City's network;and,
15 WHEREAS,the Little Rock Police Department's Real-Time Crime Center has a need for a mobile
16 surveillance unit to ensure and,
17 WHEREAS, vendor selection was made Sourcewell Contract No. 121024 to select American Fire
18 Protection Group,Inc.as the vendor to provide the needed equipment;and,
19 WHEREAS, the cost to acquire the Mobile Pro Systems Falcon 3100 Solar-Powered Mobile
20 Surveillance Unit from select American Fire Protection Group,Inc. is Fifty-Eight Thousand Two Hundred
21 Seventy-Six and 60/100($58,276.60), including applicable taxes and fees
22 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
23 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS;
24 Section 1.The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with American Fire Protection Group,
25 Inc.,in the amount of Fifty-Eight Thousand Two Hundred Seventy-Six and 60/100($58,276.60),including
26 applicable taxes and fees, for the purchase of Mobile Pro Systems Falcon 3100 Solar-Powered Mobile
27 Surveillance Unit.
28 Section 2.Funds for this purchase are allocated in Department Hand Tool Account No. 105220-60500.
29 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
30 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
31 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
32 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
33 resolution.

1 Section 4.Repealer.All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
2 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
