Enclosed please find an application to the City Beautiful Commission to consider a variance to allow
reduced landscape strips on the north and south boundaries of the proposed TRU Hotel to be built in
the Gateway Town Center. The reason for this request is due to an increase in the size of the mechanical
yards on the south side of the building, which were smaller on a previously submitted site plan.
