On January 8, 2014, the CBC approved the landscape variance request to allow a reduced width in the Markham Street
perimeter landscape strip. The Commission suggested and the applicant agreed to install a landscaped berm of no less
than 18 inches in that perimeter landscape strip. Installation of the berm was made a condition of the CBC's approval.
The vote on the variance was 7 ayes, 0 noes, 2 absent and 2 open positions.
