HomeMy WebLinkAbout12-10-96• Board of Directors Room City Hall - 500 W. Markham Little Rock, Arkansas December 10, 1996 - 7:20 P.M. The Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas met in special session with Mayor Jim Dailey presiding. City Clerk Robbie Hancock called the roll with the following Directors present: Directors Sharp, Mason, Adcock, Hinton, Hodges, Keck, Joyce, and Wyrick - total 8; Absent - Directors Kumpuris and Wilson - total 2. With a quorum being present, Mayor Dailey declared the Board of Directors in session and announced the purpose of the special meeting was for the evaluation of City Manager Charles Nickerson. (Note: City Attorney Tom Carpenter was in Washington, DC, therefore, his evaluation was rescheduled.) Notice of the special meeting was filed with the City Clerk. The proceedings of the meeting are recorded as follows. There was a motion by Director Adcock, seconded by Director Hinton, to recess to Executive Session in the Sister Cities Conference Room for the evaluation of City Manager Charles Nickerson. The motion was unanimously adopted, and the Board of Directors recessed to Executive Session at 7:22 o'clock P.M. When the Board of Directors reconvened from Executive Session at 9:20 o'clock P.M., Mayor Dailey reported that the Board had a good dialogue with some suggestions for areas that needed improvement and agreed that the City Manager's compensation for the next year will be based upon using the same formula for other City employees, roughly 4.25% with no other changes in benefits. There being no further business to be presented, the special meeting of the Board of Directors was adjourned at 9:23 o'clock P.M.
