commissioners will vote again to defer your case to October at the next meeting. However, a decision will need to be

will need to go out by this Thursday, August 20, ten (10) business days before the hearing.

I wanted to inquire if you have discussed the deferment of the CBC hearing with your client. If so and your client has
decided to continue to pursue this landscape variance I need to let you know that next month's meeting location has
been changed. The monthly meeting will be held September 03, at 11:30 am at the Little Rock City Hall, Board
Chambers, 2nd Floor, 500 West Markham Street.
In addition, before the City Beautiful Commission shall consider a request for landscaping variance of any property, the
petitioner for such variance shall first give not less than ten (10) days written notice of the time, place and date of public
hearing thereon to all the record owners of property situated within 200 feet thereof as certified by a licensed
abstractor. Said notice shall be sent by certified registered mail to the last known address of such record owner(s) and
the petitioner shall execute and file with the Plans Development Administrator, Department of Planning and
Development, showing compliance herewith attaching as exhibits to said Affidavit official evidence that said notices
have been so mailed.
Please return your certified mail receipts to my attention and have the job superintendent repost the sign at the front of
the property so that it can be seen from the street, at least ten (10) calendar days before the meeting.

Application is hereby made to the City Beautiful Commission pursuant to Resolution No. 6,122, relative

Addition, Zoned CUP C-2 ShoppingCenter District.
Request a Landscape Variance be granted to allow 1. A reduction in the screening requirement along
the disnlav Dortion of the lot at the southwest corner. The intent of this area is to display inventoryfor
public viewing and not for parking.
2. To waive the tree and shrub planting requirement for the north perimeter. as the two existing 15 ft. tall
retaining walls will screen the subject property from the north neigbor.

ON AN APPLICATION FOR LANDSCAPE VARIANCE
TO ALL OWNERS OF LAND lying within 200 feet of the boundary of property at:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT an application for landscape variance(s) on the above property has been
filed with the Plans Development Administrator, Department of Planning and Development,
723 West Markham, requesting variance(s) from:
(1) The Screening reuuirements provisions of Section Sec. 15-95
of the Little Rock Code of Ordinances to permit: A reduction in the screen➢n re uirement along the
display ortion of the lot at the southwest corner.
(2) The Perimeter planting str_inj provisions of Section Sec. 15-96
of the Little Rock Code of Ordinances to: Waive the tree and shrub P-lantILIg requirements for the north

A public hearing on said application will be held by the Little Rock City Beautiful
Commission on October, 01 , 2015, at 11:30 a.m. The meeting will be held at Curran
Hall, located at 615 East Capitol Avenue.
All parties in interest may appear and be heard at said time and place or may notify the City Beautiful
Commission of their views on this matter by letter. All persons interested in this request are invited to
call or visit the Plans Development Administrator, 723 West Markham, 371-4864, to review the
application and discuss same with the staff.
