HomeMy WebLinkAboutMemo to Charles Toland 02-18-1999City of Little Rock HISTORIC DISTRICT COMMISSION MEMORANDUM TO: Charles Toland, Permits Administrator FROM: V. Anne Guthrie, Historic Preservation Administrator DATE: 18 February 1999 SUBJECT: Permit for 419 E. 10th This memo serves as administrative approval from the Little Rock Historic District Commission allowing the property owner of 419 East 10th (located within the MacArthur Park Historic District) permission to obtain an extension for a building permit. The COA, as required due to its location within the historic district, was issued to the property owner in July 1996 for rehabilitating the structure. It is my understanding that the building permit was issued in 1996, that rehab work has been continuous and the anticipated completion date for the structure's rehabilitation is spring of 1999. With this understood agreement and the good faith effort of the owner, a continuation of the COA is provided and an extension of a building permit should be approved. If exterior changes or improvements are made that require a COA (see the Design Review Guidelines: MacArthur Park Historic District), the LRHDC will be notified and appropriate actions taken for a public hearing.
