STAFF REPORT This item is located in an inner city neighborhood in which the existing stock consists of older, residential homes that are being used for multifamily uses. On -site development consists of condominiums and office uses. All street improvements are in place. The purpose of this request is to amend an existing plat so that the existence of the right-of-way on both E. 6th and E. 7th Streets may be clarified as indicated on the plat. E. 6th has a 70' right-of-way while E. 7th has one with only 481. Thus, the southern side of the property is 10' in excess of the 60' right-of-way requirement, while the northern end fails to meet the requirement by 12'. Staff's only suggestion is that the applicant should find an existing fixed survey monument in the neighborhood and tie the corners down by legal description. STAFF RECOMMENDATION Approval, subject to the comment made above. PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION: The applicant was present. A motion in agreement with the Subdivision Committee's recommendation for approval was made and passed by a vote of 9 ayes, 0 noes and 2 absent.
