Markham Street Little Rocic, AR 72201 RE: The Gardens CUP 9621 Tall Timber Blvd, Mr. Thrower, Please find attached the application, survey and filing fee for the above referenced project. The developer is requesting approval of a Conditional Use Permit for The Gardens. The property is zoned O-3 and O-1. Both zoning classifications would allow The Gardens facility as a conditional use under 2(f) "community, welfare or health center". The property contains an existing church with associated parking on approximately 7.6 acres. The church is currently not in use and the property is on the market for sale. The Gardens has the property under contract. The Gardens would remodel the existing building as needed for their use. I have attached a written description of The Gardens. We also have a video provided that describes how The Gardens would fit wn the surrounding area. There are two existing facilities in Sherwood and Texarkana. The developer has offered tours of the facility in Sherwood to anyone interested. These facilities have been located within residential areas for 15 to 20 years. To date, there have been no problems with these facilities being located within these communities.
