3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT AMENDMENT WITH SAMSARA, INC., IN AN
5 ANNUAL AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED TWO HUNDRED SIXTY-EIGHT
6 THOUSAND DOLLARS ($268,000.00), TO OUTFIT CITY VEHICLES IN
7 THE CITY'S FLEET SERVICES DEPARTMENT WITH IN-CAR GPS AND
8 CAMERAS HARDWARE AND LICENSES FOR A TERM OF FOUR (4)
9 YEARS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS,the Fleet Services Department has identified the need to update in-car GPS and camera
12 hardware currently installed in vehicles in the City Fleet Services Department; and,
13 WHEREAS,pursuant to Little Rock,Ark., Resolution No. 16,677 (May 6, 2025)as amended, vendor
14 selection of Samsara,Inc., was made utilizing Sourcewell Contract 020221-SAM; and,
15 WHEREAS,the total annual cost to extend the License Agreement with Samsara,Inc., for In-car GPS and
16 Camera hardware is not to exceed Two Hundred Sixty-Eight Thousand Dollars ($268,000.60), which
17 includes a contingency to allow for additional units and cameras, for the period of four(4)years.
18 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
19 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS;
20 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract amendment with Samsara, Inc., in
21 an annual amount not to exceed Two Hundred Sixty-Eight Thousand Dollars($268,000.00),which includes
22 a contingency, for In-car GPS and Camera hardware ad licensing,for a period of four(4)years.
23 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in Fleet Parts,Account No. 600013-63211.
24 Section 3.Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or word
25 of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication
26 shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the
27 portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the resolution.
28 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same that are inconsistent with the
29 provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
