3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH SUPERIOR AUTOMOTIVE GROUP, IN AN
5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED TWO HUNDRED SIXTY-SIX THOUSAND,
6 NINE HUNDRED FIFTY AND 64/100 DOLLARS ($266,950.64), PLUS
7 APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES, FOR THE UPI}1T1'ING OF TWENTY-
8 TWO LITTLE ROCK POLICE DEPARTMENT VEHICLES; AND FOR
9 OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS,to ensure public safety and operational readiness,the City of Little Rock's Fleet Services
12 Department has a critical need for the emergency upfit of twenty-two Little Rock Police Department
13 vehicles;and,
14 WHEREAS,pursuant to Little Rock,Ark.,Resolution No. 16,677(May 6,2025),vendor selection of
15 Superior Automotive Group was made through Sourcewell Contract No.090122-WHL;and,
16 WHEREAS, the cost for the emergency upfit of twenty-two (22) Little Rock Police Department
17 vehicles is Two Hundred Sixty-Six Thousand, Nine Hundred Fifty and 64/100 Dollars ($266,950.64),
18 including applicable taxes and fees.
19 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
20 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS;
21 Section 1.The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Superior Automotive Group,in
22 the Two Hundred Sixty-Six Thousand, Nine Hundred Fifty and 64/100 Dollars ($266,950.64), including
23 applicable taxes and fees,for the emergency upfit of twenty-two Little Rock Police Department vehicles.
24 Section 2.Funding for this expenditure is available in Fleet Account#210759-72300-S00B399.
25 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
26 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
27 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
28 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
29 resolution.
30 Section 4.Repealer.All laws,ordinances, resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
31 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
