3 A RESOLUTION TO SET OCTOBER 6, 2025,AS THE DATE OF PUBLIC
4 HEARING ON AN APPEAL OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICIAL FOR
5 THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT'S ACTION IN
6 DENYING A DRIVEWAY WIDTH OF 52 FT. ON THE R-2 ZONED
7 PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2601 NORTH UNIVERSITY AVENUE; AND
8 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS,Ashlea Beene has filed an appeal from the Administrative Official for the Planning
11 and Development Department's action in the denial of a 52 ft.wide driveway on the R-2 zoned property
12 located at 2601 North University Avenue.
13 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
14 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS;
15 Section 1.The hearing on the appeal of the denial of a 52 ft.driveway on the R-2 zoned property
16 located at 2601 North University Avenue shall be held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the
17 City of Little Rock in the boardroom of City Hall at six o'clock (6:00 p.m.) on the 6th day of
18 October 2025.
19 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner
20 prescribed by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper
21 published in Pulaski County,Arkansas,and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
22 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
23 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
24 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
25 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
26 resolution.
27 Section 5.Repealer.All laws,ordinances, resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
28 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
