HomeMy WebLinkAbout16808 1 RESOLUTION NO. 16,808 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH JERRY PATE TURF & IRRIGATION, INC., 5 IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED FORTY-NINE 6 THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED TWO AND 62/100 DOLLARS ($149,602.62) 7 PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES,FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO 8 (2) TORO WORKMAN HDX UTILITY VEHICLES WITH MULTI PRO 9 WM SPRAYERS, FOR THE REBSAMEN PARK GOLF COURSE AND 10 FIRST TEE, ; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 11 12 WHEREAS,the Department of Parks and Recreation's Rebsamen Park Golf Course and First Tee Golf 13 Course has a need for two (2) Toro Workman HDX Utility Vehicles with Multi Pro WM Sprayers as 14 replacements for older equipment which is costly to maintain and repair; and, 15 WHEREAS, pursuant to Little Rock, Ark., Resolution No. 16,603 (February 18, 2025), vendor 16 selection was made through Sourcewell Contract No. 112624-TTC; and, 17 WHEREAS, the total cost of this purchase is in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Forty-Nine 18 Thousand Six Hundred Two and 62/100 Dollars($149,602.62), including applicable taxes and fees. 19 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 20 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS; 21 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Jerry Pate Turf& Irrigation, 22 Inc., for the purchase of two(2)Toro Workman HDX Utility Vehicles with Multi Pro WM Sprayers, in an 23 amount not to exceed One Hundred Forty-Nine Thousand Six Hundred Two and 62/100 Dollars 24 ($149,602.62), including applicable taxes and fees. 25 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are available from the Parks & Recreation Bond Account No. 26 332459-72200-B47D005. 27 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 28 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 29 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 30 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 31 resolution. 32 Section 4.Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with 33 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
