The latest "Standard Pipeline Specifications" of the Central Arkansas Water shall apply. 2. The latest "Specification Requirements for Sanitary Sewers" of the Little Rock Waste Water Utility shall apply. 3. The contractor shall locate all existing utilities before beginning construction. 4. Maintain 10' minimum horizontal separation between water and sanitary sewer lines. 5. The contractor shall verify horizontal and vertical alignment of storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and water lines to ensure that they are installed with adequate cover and clearance. Rough grading shall be complete before installation of storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water mains and service. 6. The contractor shall make connection to existing sanitary sewer and water mains after they are cleaned, tested and construction approved by utility inspector. 7. All fills are to be made in 8" lifts and compacted to 95% of modified proctor density (ASTM D-1557), as determined by inplace density tests. In transition areas between cuts and fills the top 8" in the cut shall be broken and compacted to a minimum of 95% modified proctor denisity. 8. The contractor shall coordinate with each utility company prior to any excavation. Any damage to existing utility lines caused by contractor's operations shall be repaired at the contractor's expense. 9. Concrete shall have a minimum 28 day compressive strength of 3000 psi unless noted. 10. All reinforcing steel shall be grade 40 unless noted. 11.
