1. Any new site development must comply with the City's minimal landscape and buffer ordinance
requirements.
2. Signage is to be reviewed and permitted separately.
Existing plant materials can be used to meet the minimum code requirements if noted on the
plan. All existing landscape areas and mature vegetation to remain shall be protected as per City
of Little Rock Landscape Ordinance (Sec. 15-100). Any trees or vegetation located in close
proximity to construction shall have the area within the dripline fenced and protected from
development activities. Any existing landscape or irrigation disturbed by construction shall be
repaired or replaced before completion and final acceptance of the project.
Note existing landscape to remain if applicable.
4. A landscape plan was not submitted. Permit cannot be released until landscape requirements
are met. Additional and complete review will be made upon the receiving landscape plan
specifying the proposed plant materials, sizes, and the proposed planting areas a method of
irrigation. Submit three (3) copies of the landscape plan and one (1) copy of the survey for
review and approval.
5. All landscape areas shall be protected as per City of Little Rock Landscape Ordinance (Sec. 15-
100). Mulch, edging, wheel stops, and/or concrete curb and gutter will be required.
6. All ground or roof mounted mechanical systems shall be screened from abutting properties and
streets. Any trash receptacles or pickup shall be oriented away from a primary street side of the
property and screened from the public right-of-way. Screen shall exceed the height of the
dumpster or trash containment areas by at least two (2) feet not to exceed eight (8) feet total
height.
7. The City Beautiful Commission recommends preserving as many existing trees as feasible on this
site. Credit toward fulfilling Landscape Ordinance requirements can be given when preserving
trees of six (6) inch caliper or larger.
