Any new site development must comply with the City's minimal landscape and buffer ordinance requirements and the requirements of the PD-O approved by the Planning Commission file # Z-9377. A landscape plan was not submitted. Permit cannot be released until landscape requirements are met. Additional and complete review will be made upon the receiving landscape plan specifying the proposed plant materials, sizes, and the proposed planting areas a method of irrigation. Landscape plan should include but may not be limited to the following. ■ For any site, trees from two (2) different genuses are required. At least twenty-five (25) percent of the trees on the site outside of those required for screening purposes are to be of evergreen variety. For any site, shrubs from two (2) different genuses are required. Provide plant material schedule / legend and size specifications. In order to receive credit trees must be two (2) inches in caliper and shrubs must be eighteen (18) inches in height at installation. • Screening requirements will need to be met for the vehicular use areas adjacent to street right-of-ways. Provide screening shrubs with an average linear spacing of not less at three (3) feet within the required landscape area. Provide trees with an average linear spacing of not less than thirty (30) feet. • All landscape areas shall be protected as per City of Little Rock Landscape Ordinance (Sec. 15-100). Provide notes on plan specifying type and location of mulch, edging, wheel stops, and/or concrete curb and gutter. • An irrigation system shall be required for developments of one (1) acre or larger. For developments of less than one (1) acre a there shall be a water source within seventy- five (75) feet of all plant material if an automatic irrigation system is not provided. All existing landscape areas and mature vegetation to remain shall be protected as per City of Little Rock Landscape Ordinance (Sec. 15-100). Any trees or vegetation located in close proximity to construction shall have the area within the dripline fenced and protected from development activities. Any existing landscape or irrigation disturbed by construction shall be repaired or replaced before completion and final acceptance of the project. 5. All landscape areas shall be protected as per City of Little Rock Landscape Ordinance (Sec. 15-100). Mulch, edging, wheel stops, and/or concrete curb and gutter will be required. Any new ground or roof mounted mechanical systems shall be screened from abutting properties and streets. Any trash receptacles or pickup shall be oriented away from a primary street side of the property and screened from the public right-of-way. Screen shall exceed the height of the dumpster or trash containment areas by at least two (2) feet not to exceed eight (8) feet total height. 7. The City Beautiful Commission recommends preserving as many existing trees as feasible on this site. Credit toward fulfilling Landscape Ordinance requirements can be given when preserving trees of six (6) inch caliper or larger.
