RESOLUTION NO. 12,426
A RESOLUTION TO SET FEBRUARY 20, 2007, AS THE DATE OF HEARING ON
THE PETITION TO ABANDON THE WEST 15 FEET OF THE POLK STREET
RIGHT -OF -WAY (15 FEET BY 140 FEET), LOCATED ADJACENT TO LOT 14,
BLOCK 8, NEWTON'S ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the Board of Directors
vacate and abandon the West 15 feet of the Polk Street right -of -way (15 feet by 140 feet) located
adjacent to Lot 14, Block 8, Newton's Addition to the City of Little Rock, pursuant to its general police
power authority under Ark. Code Ann. §14 -54 -104.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above - mentioned right -of -way shall
be held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Board Room of City Hall
17 at six o'clock on the 20th day of February, 2007.
18 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner
19 prescribed by law by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in
20 Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
