Iy intent is to bring the property back to it's original appearance before years of neglect caused this structure to deteriorate into its present condition. Currently the structure is a 5-plex apartment building. yIy plan is to move into the largest apartment and combine it with one of the smaller apartments so that my son and I have a nice sized two bedroom home. This will make the structure into a 4-phex. In the future, as I am able to afford it, I plan to gradualh• convert at least one other apartment into my residence. I have one other building I own in the area and have included some before and after photos of the property to show you how much I improved the appearance of the area by restoring that structure two years ago. I have already started the rehabilitation process by working on the interior, plumbing, foundation, and the roof. Assuming approval at your September 3rd meeting, I plan to have the building complete within 2 months. I purchased it under the FHA 203k program, so the funds are readily available to proceed. The impact on the area will be dramatic. The house has nearly limitless potential and is the last house on the block that has not be rehabilitated. Once it is complete, the area's appearance will be greatly improved and will have an owner -occupant with a vested interest in trying to continually improve the McArthur Park Historic District. Thank you once again for your time and I look forward to appearing in front of you on September 3rd. R/obert E. Kennedy
