Arkansas Natural This letter is in response to the proposed project plans submitted to the
Heritage Commission Arkansas Historic Preservation Program (AHPP) for our review. As you
are aware, AHPP holds a Deed of Conservation Easement on this
Arkansas state Archives property and we are required to review and approve any alterations
that affect the exterior appearance of the building and property
Delta Cultural Center grounds.

We have reviewed the proposed roofing plans that consist of removing
the torch down roll roofing, installation of white TPO roofing, and
replacing the failing flashing on the east roof with new flashing that
matches the west roof. AHPP staff members have determined that the
proposed work meets the Secretary of Interior's Standards for
Rehabilitation. We have no outstanding concerns and approve of the
work plans submitted. For phased projects, plans for each phase of the
project need to be submitted to our office for review and approval.
