Any new site development must comply with the City's minimal landscape and buffer ordinance requirements and the requirements of the site plan review approved by the Planning Commission file #1265-A. 2. A landscape plan was not submitted. Permit cannot be released until landscape requirements are met. Additional and complete review will be made upon the receiving landscape plan specifying the proposed plant materials, sizes, and the proposed planting areas a method of irrigation. 3. Any existing landscape areas and mature vegetation to remain shall be protected as per City of Little Rock Landscape Ordinance (Sec. 15-100). Any trees or vegetation located in close proximity to construction shall have the area within the dripline fenced and protected from development activities. Any existing landscape or irrigation disturbed by construction shall be repaired or replaced before completion and final acceptance of the project. 4. All landscape areas shall be protected as per City of Little Rock Landscape Ordinance (Sec. 15-100). Mulch, edging, wheel stops, and/or concrete curb and gutter will be required. 5. Any new ground or roof mounted mechanical systems shall be screened from abutting properties and streets. Any trash receptacles or pickup shall be oriented away from a primary street side of the property and screened from the public right-of-way. Screen shall exceed the height of the dumpster or trash containment areas by at least two (2) feet not to exceed eight (8) feet total height. 6. The City Beautiful Commission recommends preserving as many existing trees as feasible on this site. Credit toward fulfilling Landscape Ordinance requirements can be given when preserving trees of six (6) inch caliper or larger. Review 3/11/20 Screening requirements will need to be met for any vehicular use areas adjacent to the street right-of-way or any adjacent properties of a more restrictive use. Screening requirements will need to be met for the parking areas adjacent to the S University and the Mabelvale Pike rights -of -way. Provide screening shrubs with an average linear spacing of not less than three (3) feet on center and trees with an average linear spacing of thirty (30) feet on center within the required landscape area. There is approximately 300 linear feet of vehicular use area adjacent to the S University right-of-way. A minimum of ten (10) trees and 100 evergreen screening shrubs will be required in this area. There is approximately 110 linear feet of vehicular use area adjacent to the Mabelvale Pike right-of-way. A minimum of four (4) trees and thirty-seven (37) evergreen screening shrubs will be required in this area. 2. A perimeter planting strip is required along any side of a vehicular use area that abuts an adjoining property or street right-of-way. Provide trees with an average linear spacing of not less than thirty (30) feet within the perimeter planting strip. Provide three (3) shrubs or vines for every thirty (30) linear feet of perimeter planting strip. Provide an additional twenty-one (21) shrubs on the north perimeter adjacent to Mabelvale Pike. Plant materials must be within thirty (30) of feet of the right-of-way of the to receive credit. 3. Note, shrub material must be 18" in height at installation to receive credit.
