Site plan must comply with the City's minimal landscape / buffer ordinance requirements. 2. Signage is to be reviewed and permitted separately. 3. Screening requirements will need to be met for the vehicular use areas adjacent to the street right-of-way. Provide evergreen shrubs a minimum of 18" in height with an average linear spacing of no less than three (3) feet on center between the proposed parking area and the Scott Hamilton Drive right-of-way. Existing mature trees a can be used to meet tree requirements for this area. 4. Any existing trees or vegetation located in close proximity to construction shall have the area within the dripline fenced and protected from development activities. Any exiting landscape or irrigation disturbed by construction shall be repaired or replaced before completion and final acceptance of the project. 5. A perimeter planting strip is required along any side of a vehicular use area that abuts adjoining property or the right-of-way of any street. This strip is required along the north side of the property from the east property line to the fifty (50) foot building setback. One (1) tree and three (3) shrubs or vines shall be planted for every thirty (30) linear feet. Provide the required landscape adjacent to the west property line. There is approximately fifty (50) linear feet in this area. Provide two (2) trees and five (5) shrubs. 6. Trees shall be included in the interior vehicular landscape areas at the rate of one (1) tree for every twelve (12) parking spaces. Provide a minimum of two (2) trees placed on each side of the proposed parking entry drive. 7. For any site, trees and shrubs from two (2) different genuses are required. At least twenty-five (25) percent of the trees and shrubs on the site outside of those required for screening purposes are to be of evergreen variety. 8. The City of Little Rock requires irrigation for all sites exceeding one (1) acre. Provide note on the landscape plan stating "an automatic irrigation system shall be provided for all new landscape areas and provide 100%full coverage". 9. The development of two (2) acres or more requires the landscape plan to be stamped with the seal of a Registered Landscape Architect. 10. Return three (3) copies of the revised landscape plan and one (1) copy of the survey to the Plans Development Administrator before releasing for permit. 11. The City Beautiful Commission recommends preserving as many existing trees as feasible on this site. Credit toward fulfilling Landscape Ordinance requirements can be given when preserving trees of six (6) inch caliper or larger.
