Subject: RE: Final Request--- 120 Old Town (Parking Lot)
Not ready.
A Temporary CO can be obtained by providing a written cost estimate for the unfinished landscape work and a cashier's
check or bond for this estimated amount.
The curb and gutter as shown on the plans has been eliminated from the west end of the parking area and
around the interior planting beds
Provide wheel stops, or other device to prevent vehicular traffic from encroaching into the landscape areas.
All landscape areas shall be protected as per City of Little Rock Landscape Ordinance (Sec. 15-100). Raised
concrete curbing or other approved devices shall be placed around the base of each landscaped area to protect
plantings from automobile and pedestrian traffic. Such curbing should be offset two (2) feet from planting areas
abutting parked vehicles in order to protect plantings from vehicle front end overhang and vehicle doors
opening into planter areas.
■ Plant material has not been installed west end of the as shown on the approved plan.
Provide two (2) additional Sweetbay Magnolia and ten (10) additional Abelia.

Sally,
Initially everything looks good. The only thing that caught my attention is the west perimeter. If existing trees and
understory material are going to be retained to meet your requirements please note this on your plan. If this is not the
case you may want to add another tree to northwest portion of the parking lot adjacent to the drive and place shrubs 3'
o.c. next to the far west parking spaces. Also, the west perimeter differs from the plan approved by the Planning
Commission (Z-5178-C). Submit three (3) copies of the revised site plan to Subdivision Administrator Donna James for
review and approval.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
Tracy

Tracy -
John Vincent brought by a landscape concept plan today for an building/parking expansion at Chenal Pkwy and Old
Town Rd. I have transferred his hand drawn plan of the landscape and made a few changes. Since this is expansion- I'm
thinking the new plantings are only required for the new improvements. Is this correct? I've attached the proposed
plan. If I'm on the right track I'll send 3 copies for your review.
Thanks,

RE: 120 Old Town; 201403254; Wellness Revolition
The following Comments need to be addressed before releasing for permit.
1. Site plan must comply with the City's minimal landscape and buffer ordinance requirements.
2. Signage is to be reviewed and permitted separately.
3. Landscape plan was not provided. Complete landscape review will be conducted upon submittal.
4. The City Beautiful Commission recommends preserving as many existing trees as feasible on this site. Credit
toward fulfilling Landscape Ordinance requirements can be given when preserving trees of six (6) inch
caliper or larger.
