HomeMy WebLinkAbout16795 1 RESOLUTION NO. 16,795 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO 4 EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH ALLIANCE TECHNICAL 5 GROUP IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED 6 EIGHTY-ONE THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS, 7 ($181,500.00), TO DEVELOP A WETLANDS MANAGEMENT 8 PLAN FOR THE FOURCHE CREEK WATERSHED; AND FOR 9 OTHER PURPOSES 10 11 WHEREAS,on September 24,2024, the City of Little Rock was awarded an Environmental 12 Protection Agency Wetland Program Development Grant in the amount of Two Hundred Seventy 13 Thousand, Three Hundred Eighty-Nine Dollars,($270,489.00); and, 14 WHEREAS,the grant award allows for the procurement of a consultant to develop a Wetlands 15 Management Plan(WMP) for the project; and, 16 WHEREAS,on May 7,2025,The City of Little Rock issued Request for Proposals(RFP)for 17 development of a Wetlands Management Plan for the Fourche Creek Watershed under bid number 18 3037; and, 19 WHEREAS, Alliance Technical Group was selected by an approved selection committee as 20 the most qualified firm to provide the services pursuant to Bid 3037 with the bid amount of One 21 Hundred Eighty-One Thousand, Five Hundred Dollars,($181,500.00). 22 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF 23 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 24 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute a contract 25 with Alliance Technical Group in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Eighty-One Thousand, 26 Five Hundred Dollars, ($181,500.00), to develop a Wetlands Management Plan for the Fourche 27 Creek Watershed. 28 Section 2. Funding for this project is from the Wetland Development Grant with funds 29 available from Account Activity G40DF242. 30 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, 31 phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such 32 declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall 33 remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional 34 was not originally a part of the resolution.
