1. Site plan must comply with the City's minimal landscape / buffer ordinance requirements, and
the requirements of the POD approved by the Planning Commission (file number, Z-7875-E).
2. Signage is to be reviewed and permitted separately.
There is approximately one hundred and twenty-five (125) of vehicular use area adjacent to the
Kanis Road right-of-way. A minimum of forty-two shrubs a minimum of 18" in height at
installation will be required in this area. Provide additional shrubs west of the first parking bay.
4. Verify that the three (3) gallon plant material specified will meet the 18" height requirement at
installation.
5. A perimeter planting strip is required along any side of a vehicular use area that abuts adjoining
property or the right-of-way of any street. One (1) tree and three (3) shrubs or vines shall be
planted for every thirty (30) linear feet of perimeter planting strip.
Requirements for landscaping in land use buffers shall be the same as perimeter landscaping.

There is approximately one hundred and thirty-five (135) linear feet of landscape perimeter
adjacent to the south property line. A minimum of five (5) trees and fourteen (14) shrubs are
required in this area.
There is approximately one hundred (100) linear feet of landscape perimeter adjacent to the
east property line. A minimum of three (3) trees and ten (10) shrubs are required in this area.
6. All landscape areas shall be protected as per City of Little Rock Landscape Ordinance (Sec. 15-
100). Provide notes on plan specifying type and location of mulch, edging, wheel stops, and/or
concrete curb and gutter.
7. Irrigation is required for all sites exceeding one (1) acre. Provide note on the landscape plan
stating "an automatic irrigation system shall be provided for all new landscape areas and
provide 100% full coverage".
8. Return three (3) copies of the revised landscape plan sheet LS1.0 and one (1) copy of the survey
to the Plans Development Administrator before releasing for permit.
9. The City Beautiful Commission recommends preserving as many existing trees as feasible on this
site. Credit toward fulfilling Landscape Ordinance requirements can be given when preserving
trees of six (6) inch caliper or larger.
