It's supposed to be from trunk to trunk. However, after reviewing the rock excavation map I can see and agree with
where the trees have been placed. The trees as shown on the last revision are acceptable. I can make a note of this
revision in the file. Also, could you please create a new PDF of the rock excavation map and forward to my attention?
The last PDF that I received is corrupt and will not allow printing.

That depends, are you measuring from trunk to trunk? I'm trying to prevent the contractor from chiseling out rock in
order to plant the trees and to give them the best chance to actually live.

Ed,
That will work as long as there is no more than 100 linear feet between the grouping of trees on the south curb line.
Thanks,
Tracy

Tracy,
Here is a hybrid of that and the previous plan. Any thoughts on this?

Ed,
This plan will meet the minimum requirements for the interior trees. However, you lost the perimeter trees that are
required at the rate of 1 tree per 30 linear feet between the vehicular use area and the right-of-way. Note these trees do
not need to be 30 feet on center but can be grouped together as shown on your previous plan as long as there is no
more than 100 feet between trees.
Let me know if you need anything else.

Ed,
My concern is that all but one (1) of the parking area trees has been eliminated. As per code flexibility is permitted with
placement of interior landscape islands, however, interior landscaping should be generally distributed throughout the
vehicular use areas. With 98 parking spaces there should be a minimum of eight (8) trees located throughout the
parking area.
Is there a possibility of placing trees in the island between the drop off lane and the parking or in the islands on the east
side where no rock is indicated?
Just let me know.
Thanks,

Tracy,
Adam had my revise this planting plan due to some rock encountered onsite. I've included the revised overall and 20
scale landscape plan as well as a rock excavation map so that you can see where the rock has been encountered.
Let me know if you have any issues with what is being shown.
