2 A RESOLUTION TO APPOINT A SUCCESSOR COMMISSIONER TO FILL A
3 VACANCY ON THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE RIVERDALE
4 LEVEE DISTRICT NO. 134 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR
5 OTHER PURPOSES.

7 WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of Riverdale Levee Improvement District No. 134 of
8 Little Rock,Arkansas(the "District")has represented that Mike Myers,one of three commissioners of said
9 board,has resigned;and
10 WHEREAS,the two remaining commissioners recommend that the City appoint Mr.Jack East III,
11 a property owner in the District,to fill the vacancy created by Mr. Myers' resignation.
12 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
13 LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
14 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby appoints Jack East III as a Commissioner and member
15 of the Board of Directors of the Riverdale Levee Improvement District No. 134 of Little Rock, Arkansas.
16 Section 2.Severability. In the event any title, section,paragraph, item, sentence,clause, phrase, or
17 word of this resolution is declared or adjusted to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
18 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
19 effect as if the portion so declared or adjusted invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
20 resolution.
21 Section 3. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
22 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
23 Section 4.This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
