3 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH MUSCO SPORTS LIGHTING, LLC, IN AN
5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED SIXTY-FIVE THOUSAND
6 DOLLARS ($165,000.00), FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF BALL FIELD
7 LIGHTS AND RELATED SUPPLIES AND SERVICES THAT WERE
8 DESTROYED IN THE 2023 TORNADO AT RESERVOIR PARK;AND FOR
9 OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS, the 2023 tornado caused significant damage to the ball field lighting and related
12 infrastructure at Reservoir Park;and,
13 WHEREAS,there is an urgent need to replace the destroyed lighting to restore the park's functionality
14 for community use;and,
15 WHEREAS, Musco Sports Lighting, LLC, has been identified as the vendor for the replacement of
16 the ball field lighting and related services through Sourcewell Master Project 199030,Contract No.014423-
17 MSL,which meets the City's procurement requirements;and,
18 WHEREAS, funding for this project has been allocated through FEMA funds, specifically Account
19 No. 270459-G45DF231, and the total cost of the contract shall not exceed One Hundred Sixty-Five
20 Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents($165,000.00).
21 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
22 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
23 Section 1.The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Musco Sports Lighting,
24 LLC, for the replacement of ball field lighting and related supplies and services at Reservoir Park, in an
25 amount not to exceed One Hundred Sixty-Five Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents($165,000.00),and a ten
26 percent(10%)contingency fee,if needed,to replace the ball field lighting and related services at Reservoir
27 Park.
28 Section 2. Funding for this contract shall be from FEMA funds allocated to Account No. 270459-
29 G45DF231 and shall be procured in accordance with Sourcewell Master Project 199030 and Contract No.
30 014423-MSL.
31 Section 3.This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
32 Section 4.Severability.In the event any title,section,paragraph,item,sentence,clause,phrase,or
33 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or

1 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
2 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
3 resolution.
4 Section 5. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
5 the provisions of the is resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
