3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH MOTOROLA SOLUTIONS, INC., IN AN
5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED TWO HUNDRED THIRTY-THREE
6 THOUSAND, NINE HUNDRED NINETY-TWO AND 80/100 DOLLARS
7 ($233,992.80), FOR THE PURCHASE OF THIRTY-SIX (36)
8 WATCHGUARD M500 MOBILE VIDEO RECORDER VEHICLE KITS TO
9 OUTFIT PATROL UNITS TO SUPPORT THE NEEDS OF LITTLE ROCK
10 POLICE DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

12 WHEREAS, it is essential that the Little Rock Police Department("LRPD")be equipped with reliable
13 tools and equipment for its officers deployed in the field in patrol vehicles; and,
14 WHEREAS, Little Rock Police Department has 36 patrol vehicles that need to be equipped with in-
15 car cameras with DVR,before they are placed in the line of service or returned to service in the Fleet; and,
16 WHEREAS,vendor selection was made through Sourcewell Contract No. 101233-MOT, pursuant to
17 Little Rock,Ark. Resolution No. 16,603 (February 18,2025)as amended; and,
18 WHEREAS, the total cost to purchase thirty-six (36) Watchguard M500 Mobile Video Recorder
19 Vehicle Kits from Motorola Solutions,Inc. is Two Hundred Thirty-Three Thousand,Nine Hundred Ninety-
20 two and 80/100 Dollars($233,992.80),plus applicable taxes and fees.
21 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
22 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS;
23 Section 1.The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Motorola Solutions, Inc., in an
24 amount not to exceed Two Hundred Thirty-Three Thousand,Nine Hundred Ninety-two and 80/100 Dollars
25 ($233,992.80), including applicable taxes and fees, for the purchase of thirty-six (36) Watchguard M500
26 Mobile Video Recorder Vehicle Kits.
27 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are available in the State Asset Forfeiture Account No. 110520-
28 60200 and Special Project Account No. S52C520.
29 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
30 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
31 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
32 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
33 resolution.

1 Section 4.Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
2 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
