Do we have everything we need on the CDC for the Teddy Roosevelt historical marker? We anticipate getting it in the next few weeks and plan to install it on October 21. 1 will let you know the exact spot if you need that. Also, I will talk with Ron about getting on the agenda to get permission for the rocks to remain in the fountain pool. Did you say this morning that you had approved adding the cement to the pool? If so, we can build upon that and argue that adding rocks serves as a safety issue. Thanks. The actual filing deadline was August 5th at 5:00 pm. The Historic District Commission reviewed the master plan, but stated that they would review and approve any COA's when individual phases are ready to be construct and plans were drawn for those specific improvements. They did this with the front lawn improvements, but not with any of the other phases. If you do not make the deadline, it will have to be heard on the October 10. 2011 hearing Brian Minyard, AICP bminyord@liftlerock.org (501) 3714789 fax (501) 399-3435 Please consider the environment before printing this a -mail. The design is identical to the Arsenal Crisis marker that we installed in 2009. 1 have attached a picture of that sign. The marker would be placed at the southwest corner of the old parade grounds, directly behind the museum. We are requesting a certificate of compliance to begin raising funds to pay for this marker. I am requesting to be put on the agenda for the March meeting of the Historic District Commission to ask for a "limited area of influence" for notification purposes. The location of the proposed marker would be the southwest corner of the former parade grounds, directly south of the Arsenal Building. Thanks for your assistance.
