2 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO RENEW
3 THE VEEAM BACK-UP AND RECOVERY SOFTWARE WITH CDW-G
4 FOR A ONE (1) YEAR TERM IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED
5 SEVENTY THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED FIFTY-NINE DOLLARS
6 ($70,459.00), PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES; AND FOR OTHER
7 PURPOSES.
8 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock(the"City") requires robust and reliable data protection, backup,
9 and disaster recovery capabilities to safeguard critical information and maintain operational continuity;and,
10 WHEREAS, pursuant to Little Rock, Ark., Resolution No. 16,603 (February 18, 2025), vendor
11 selection of CDW-G was made through Sourcewell Contract No. 121923.
12 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
13 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
14 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to renew the VEEAM Back-up and Recovery
15 Software contract with CDW-G through Sourcewell Contract No. 121923 for a one (1)-year term in an
16 amount not to exceed Seventy Thousand Four Hundred Fifty-Nine Dollars ($70,459.00), plus applicable
17 taxes and fees.
18 Section 2. Funding for this renewal shall be provided from the Information Technology Network Re-
19 Occurring Maintenance Account Number 103030-061350 and the Special Projects Account Number
20 108309-063211-530A993.
21 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
22 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
23 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
24 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
25 resolution.
26 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
27 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
