HomeMy WebLinkAbout16748 1 RESOLUTION NO. 16,748 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A 4 THREE-YEAR CONTRACT WITH INSIGHT SOFTWARE LLC, IN AN 5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS 6 ($100,000), PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES; TO PURCHASE 7 FINANCIAL REPORTING SOFTWARE FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC 8 WORKS AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 9 10 WHEREAS, The Public Works Department identified a need to improve operational efficiency, 11 streamline budget analysis,and enhance financial reporting capabilities;and 12 WHEREAS, the City issued an Invitation to Quote(ITQ)Number 3038 and Insights Software, LLC 13 was the lowest responsive and responsible bidder out of the two bids received; and 14 WHEREAS, Insight Software offers a solution that integrates directly with the City's ERP system, 15 Infor Lawson,via ODBC connection to provide real-time access to budget and financial data; and 16 WHEREAS, the software enables customizable fmancial and operational reporting, secure 17 distribution, and improved usability—allowing staff to produce accurate, timely reports with reduced 18 manual effort;and 19 WHEREAS, these capabilities will support informed decision-making, improve resource 20 management,and reduce administrative workload; 21 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 22 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 23 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Insight Software, 24 LLC in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Thousand Dollars,($100,000.00)plus applicable taxes and 25 fees for the purchase of software to upgrade the City of Little Rock Public Works Department budgeting 26 solutions. 27 Section 2. Funding for this software will come from various Public Works accounts 204001-60160, 28 204020-60160,204025-60160,204002-60200,603110-63390,and 104010-60160. 29 Section 3. Severability. In the event any portion of this Resolution is declared or adjudged to be 30 invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of this 31 Resolution,which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or 32 unconstitutional was not originally a part of this Resolution. 33 Section 4. Repealer. All ordinances and resolutions, and parts thereof, which are in conflict with 34 any provision of this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
