Home My WebLink About16746 1 RESOLUTION NO. 16,746 2 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE 3 A CHANGE ORDER WITH RENAISSANCE CONSTRUCTION AND 4 RENOVATION, LLC AND AJS HOMES FOR SEWER LINE 5 DEVELOPMENTS AND ADDITIONS AT 4422 HOLT STREET AND 4418 6 HOLT STREET,LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS,IN A TOTAL AMOUNT NOT 7 TO EXCEED THIRTY-ONE THOUSAND, EIGHT HUNDRED FIFTY AND 8 82/100 DOLLARS ($31,850.82); AND,FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 9 WHEREAS,the City of Little Rock(the"City")has determined the need for sewer line developments 10 and additions at the properties located at 4422 Holt Street and 4418 Holt Street,Ward 6,of the City of Little 11 Rock,Arkansas to support necessary infrastructure improvements; and, 12 WHEREAS, Renaissance Construction and Renovation, LLC and AJS Homes are the approved 13 contractors to complete the necessary work as set out in Little Rock,Ark. Resolution No. 16,464 (October 14 15, 2024); and, 15 WHEREAS,a change order is required to proceed with the identified developments and additions,and 16 it is in the best interest of the City to authorize the City Manager to approve such change order. 17 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF 1'HE CITY 18 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 19 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a change order with Renaissance 20 Construction and Renovation,LLC and AJS Homes for sewer line developments and additions at 4422 Holt 21 Street and 4418 Holt Street,in an amount not to exceed Thirty-One Thousand,Eight Hundred Fifty Dollars 22 and Eighty-Two Cents($31,850.82). 23 Section 2. Funds for this program are available through the HOME funds. 24 Section 3.Severability. In the event any title,section,paragraph,item,sentence,clause,phrase or word 25 of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication 26 shall not effect the remaining portions of this resolution, which shall remain in full force and effect as if 27 the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the resolution. 28 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances and resolutions,including but not limited to the Little Rock, 29 Ark.
