KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
THAT, WHEREAS, Philander Smith College is the sole owner of the following described
lands lying in the County of Pulaski, State of Arkansas, to wit:
Part of Block 222 of the Original City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, and part of the
13th Street right-of-way closed by City of Little Rock Ordinance Number 16,324 dated
December 15, 1992, and part of the State Street right-of-way closed by City of Little Rock
Ordinance Number 11,682 dated December 6, 1965, being more particularly described as
follows:
BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of said Block 222, said point being on the Westerly right-
of-way line of South Gaines Street; thence along said right-of-way line, South 09°27'47" West
38.00 feet; thence North 80° 14'55" West 333.00 feet; thence North 09°27'47" East 88.96 feet;
thence South 80°14'55" East 333.00 feet to a point on the Westerly right-of-way line of South
Gaines Street; thence along said right-of-way line, South 09°27'47" West 50.96 feet to the
POINT OF BEGINNING, containing 0.390 acres, more or less.
AND
The West 137.00 feet of Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4, Block 222 of the Original City of Little Rock, and the
East 35.00 feet of Lots 9, 10, 11 and 12, Block 232 of the Original City of Little Rock, Pulaski
County, Arkansas.
Together with all of the State Street right-of-way lying between and abutting Lots 1-4, Block 222,
and Lots 9-12, Block 232, all in the Original City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and being closed and
vacated by City of Little Rock Ordinance No. 11,682, dated December 6,1965, and filed December
20, 1965 in Deed Book 944, Page 547, records of Pulaski County, Arkansas.
AND, WHEREAS, it is desirable that all of the above described property be platted.
NOW THEREFORE WITNESSETH:
THAT WE, the said Philander Smith College hereinafter termed grantor(s), have caused
said tract of land to be surveyed by Gregory T. Sullivan a Registered Professional Land Surveyor,
and a plat thereof made which is identified by the title Final Plat of Lot 1 & Lot 3 Philander Smith
College Addition Being a Reptat of Part of Blocks 222 & 232 of the Original City of Little Rock
Pulaski County. Arkansas and the date December 10, 2015, and by the signature of the Circuit
P I'k -
Clerk and ex-offcio Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, as Document Na
a D 16 a I o 5 E;__ , the grantor(s) do hereby make this Bill of Assurance.
Hereafter, conveyance and description of said lands by lot number as shown on said plat shall
be a proper and sufficient description thereof.
The considerations set forth are hereby approved by the City of Little Rock Planning
Commission. Any additional requirements, restrictions or statement are entered without review or
action by the Planning Commission, and shall not be considered part of the Little Rock Planning
Commission, and shall not be considered part of the Little Rock Planning Commission's
requirements for plat approval.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, Grantor does hereby set his hand and seal on this Bill of
Assurance.
