HomeMy WebLinkAbout22632 FILED u 'I IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIHIIIIIIIII III II NI 2025032878 JUN2 3 2025 PRESENTED 06-23-2925 0910 05 AM RECORDED'06-23-2025 091224 AM In Official Records of Tern Hollingsworth Circuit/County Clerk TERRI HOI.LINOSWORTH I CIRCUIT COUNTY CLERK ORDINANCE NO. 22,gtSKI CO,AR FEE$30.00 2 AN ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT THE PROJECT BOAR ANNEXATION (A- 3 350), TO ADD CERTAIN LANDS TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, 4 ARKANSAS; TO ZONE SAID LAND TO I-3, HEAVY INDUSTRIAL 5 DISTRICT (Z-10172); AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 6 7 WHEREAS, on May 14, 2025, a petition for voluntary annexation pursuant to Arkansas Code § 14- 8 40-609 (the "Petition") was filed with the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas, by petitioners 9 identified therein who represented 100%of the owners of the real property requesting the real property be 10 incorporated into the boundaries of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; and, 11 WHEREAS,on May 14, 2025,the Pulaski County Judge executed an Order verifying the findings of 12 the Petition, setting the exact boundaries of the real property and including all adjacent, abutting and 13 traversing rights-of-way;and, 14 WHEREAS, on May 12, 2025, the Arkansas Geographic Information System Office confirmed the 15 Petition meets requirements pursuant to Arkansas Code § 14-40-101;and, 16 WHEREAS;an accurate description of the real property requesting annexation has been filed with and 17 made a part of said Petition;and, 18 WHEREAS, all things pertaining thereto have been done in the manner prescribed by law for the 19 consideration to grant the Petition and accept the real property for annexation to be incorporated into the 20 City of Little Rock; and 21 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 22 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS. 23 Section 1. The City of Little Rock shall provide services, pursuant to Arkansas Code § 14-40-2201, 12 including police and fire protection, municipal code enforcement services, street and road maintenance, 13 permission to connection to service lines owned and operated by the Little Rock Water Reclamation 14 Authority from the effective date of the annexation,pursuant to Arkansas Code § 14-40-609. 15 Section 3. Upon annexation, the zoning classification of the above-described real property shall be 16 designated as I-3, Heavy Industrial District. 17 Section 4.The official zoning maps referenced in Chapter 36 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of 18 Little Rock, Arkansas, and the designated district boundaries are hereby amended as necessary to reflect 19 and implement the zoning change set forth in Section 3 hereof. 20 Section 5.Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, clause, phrase, or word of this 21 ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall 22 not affect the remaining portion of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion 23 so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the ordinance. 24 Section 6. Repealer.
