3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES CONTRACT WITH
5 MCCLELLAND CONSULTING ENGINEERS,INC.,IN AN AMOUNT NOT
6 TO EXCEED EIGHTY-THOUSAND DOLLARS ($80,000.00), PLUS
7 APPLICABLE TAXES,FEES,AND IF NECESSARY,FIVE PERCENT(5%)
8 CONTINGENCY FEE, FOR THE REPAIR, REDESIGN, AND
9 CONSTRUCTION OF REBSAMEN GOLF COURSE HOLE NO. 13; AND
10 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

12 WHEREAS,the City of Little Rock(the"City")Parks&Recreation Department has a need to repair
13 damage to Rebsamen Golf Course,Hole No. 13 due to collapse of the riverbank; and,
14 WHEREAS, the City issued Bid No. 2306 to solicit Statements of Qualifications for professional
15 engineering and design services to repair the riverbank failure that resulted in damage to Rebsamen Golf
16 Course,Hole No. 13;and,
17 WHEREAS,three(3)submissions were received,and McClelland Consulting Engineers,Inc.,was the
18 most qualified for the Rebsamen Golf Course,Hole No. 13 Repair Project;and,
19 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
20 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS;
21 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a professional engineering services contract
22 with McClelland Consulting Engineers, Inc., in an amount not to exceed Eighty Thousand Dollars
23 ($80,000.00), including applicable taxes, fees, and if necessary, a 5% contingency fee, for professional
24 engineering services associated with the repair,redesign and construction of Rebsamen Golf Course,Hole
25 13.
26 Section 2. Funding for this project is available in Bond Funds, Golf Course Improvement & Fleet,
27 Account No. 332459-B45D005.
28 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
29 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
30 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
31 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
32 resolution.

1 Section 4.Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with
2 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
