3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE A CONTRACT WITH POSITIVE
4 RESULTS LAWN SERVICES, INC., IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED
5 ONE HUNDRED FORTY-EIGHT THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED
6 DOLLARS ($148,800.00), FOR THE TETON FOREST DRAINAGE
7 PROJECT; AND, FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, it has been deemed appropriate and necessary to analyze and design drainage
10 improvements near the intersection of Teton Forest Drive and Shawnee Forest Drive; and,
11 WHEREAS,six(6)responses to an Invitation to Bid("ITB"),Bid No.3034 for Teton Forest Drainage,
12 were received by the City of Little Rock on May 21, 2025, and it was determined that Positive Results
13 Lawn Services, Inc., provided the lowest responsible and responsive bid.
14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Positive Results Lawn
17 Services, Inc., for the Teton Forest Drainage project, in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Forty-Eight
18 Thousand, Eight Hundred Dollars ($148,800.00), which is the base bid amount of One Hundred Twenty-
19 Four Thousand Dollars($124,000.00), and, if necessary, a twenty percent(20%)contingency.
20 SECTION 2. Funding for this project is from the 2022 Capital Improvement Bonds as authorized by
21 Little Rock, Ark. Resolution 15,968(May 2,2023): Account Activity B4D036D.
22 SECTION 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,clause,phrase, or
23 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
24 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
25 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
26 resolution.
27 SECTION 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
28 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
