SUBJECT: Permit for 920 Rock Street
This memo serves as administrative approval from the Little Rock Historic District
Commission (LRHDC) allowing the property owner of 920 Rock Street permission to obtain a
building permit. I understand that the permit is for interior repairs, a new roof and various
exterior work, including painting, As the structure is located within the MacArthur Park Historic
District, it comes under the LRHDC's jurisdiction. Routine maintenance is allowed within the
local ordinance historic district with administrative approval. If the proposed work meets city,
building and health regulations, the application for a rehabilitation permit should be approved.
Also, the owner appeared before the LRHDC in May for a Certificate of Appropriateness for the
structure; it was approved with conditions; see attached application.
