3 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND LITTLE ROCK, ARK., ORDINANCE NO.
4 22,180 (OCTOBER 18, 2022) ("THE MASTER STREET PLAN") TO
5 REMOVE THE PROPOSED WESTWARD EXTENSION OF CAPITOL
6 HILL BOULEVARD, A MINOR ARTERIAL STREET, FROM THE
7 MASTER STREET PLAN;AND, FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, Capitol Hill Boulevard is a Minor Arterial Street running west from Kanis Road; the
10 Master Steet Plan has a proposed extension of Capitol Hill Boulevard to the east to a proposed Principal
11 Arterial; and,
12 WHEREAS, the proposed removal of the extension is supported by the Planning Department with
13 stakeholder input.
14 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. Located in T1 N R13 W S 12, the proposed westward extension of Capitol Hill Boulevard, a
17 Minor Arterial,the Master Street Plan map and text are hereby amended to remove this proposed extension.
18 Section 2.Severability.In the event any title,section,paragraph,item,sentence,clause,phrase,or word
19 of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional,such declaration or adjudication
20 shall not affect the remaining portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and effect as if the
21 portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the ordinance.
22 Section 3.Repealer.All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with
23 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
