3 A RESOLUTION TO SET JUNE 17, 2025, AS THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC
4 HEARING TO FORM AND LAY OFF CITY OF LITTLE ROCK
5 MUNICIPAL PROPERTY OWNERS MULTIPURPOSE IMPROVEMENT
6 DISTRICT NO. 2025-002; (MOUNTAIN BROOK RECREATION
7 DISTRICT); AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS,the City Clerk has been provided with a petition executed by the owners of a majority in
10 value of the relevant property to form and lay off City of Little Rock Municipal Property Owners
11 Multipurpose Improvement District No. 2025-002 (Mountain Brook Recreation District) for the purposes
12 set out in Arkansas Act 113 of 1987 and A.C.A. §14-94-101 through §14-94-128; and,
13 WHEREAS, the property associated with City of Little Rock Municipal Property Owners
14 Multipurpose Improvement District No. 2025-002 (Mountain Brook Recreation District); is more
15 completely described as follows:
16 37.2556 ACRES BEING A PORTION OF THE NORTH 3/4 OF THE NE 1/4 OF SECTION
17 14,T-2-N, R-14-W, CITY OF LITTLEROCK, PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS; MORE
18 PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
19 COMMENCING AT A POINT LOCATED AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE
20 NV4 OF THE W1/4, NE'/+,NE'/4,SAID SECTION 14; SAID POINT ALSO BEING THE
21 POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE N87°36'04"W, ALONG THE SOUTH LINE OF
22 THE N3/4 OF THE NE 1/4 OF SAID SECTION 14,A DISTANCE OF 1,653.57'TO A POINT
23 ON THE WEST LINE OF SAID NE'/4; THENCE LEAVING SAID NORTH LINE
24 NO2°51'1 S"E, ALONG SAID WEST LINE, A DISTANCE OF 96139' TO THE
25 NORTHWEST CORNER OF SAID NE%;THENCE S87°36'13"E,ALONG THE NORTH
26 LINE OF SAID NE'/4,A DISTANCE OF 1,653.68' TO A POINT LOCATED ON THE
27 EAST LINE OF THE W'/4,NE'/4,NE'/4,SAID SECTION 14;THENCE ALONG SAID
28 EAST LINE,S02°51'39"W-981.46';BACK TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.
29 WHEREAS, before such action can be taken it is necessary to have a public hearing before the Little
30 Rock Board of Directors.
31 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
32 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
33 Section 1. A public hearing on the question of whether to form and lay off City of Little Rock
34 Municipal Property Owners Multipurpose Improvement District No. 2025-002 (Mountain Brook

1 Recreation District)shall be held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock at Little
2 Rock City Hall, 2"d Floor, 500 West Markham, Little Rock,Arkansas at 6:00 PM on June 17, 2025.
3 Section 2.The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by
4 Arkansas State Law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published
5 in Pulaski County, Arkansas,and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
6 Section 3. All persons who request further information about this proposed Improvement District may
7 view the documents on file with the City Clerk, 2"d Floor, City Hall, 500 West Markham, Little Rock,
8 Arkansas; or,to contact counsel for the proposed district.
9 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
10 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
11 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
12 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
13 resolution.
14 Section 5. Repealer. All laws, ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
15 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
