3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH MOTOROLA SOLUTIONS, INC., IN THE
5 TOTAL AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED EIGHTEEN THOUSAND EIGHT
6 HUNDRED NINETY-ONE AND 19/100 DOLLARS ($118,891.19), PLUS
7 APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES, FOR THE PURCHASE OF UP TO
8 SIXTEEN (16) APX6500 SINGLE BAND P25 MOBILE RADIOS TO EQUIP
9 NEW LITTLE ROCK POLICE DEPARTMENT PATROL VEHICLES;AND
10 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

12 WHEREAS, it is critical that the Little Rock Police Department ("LRPD") be equipped and with
13 reliable communication tools and equipment to ensure seamless communication for citizen safety and
14 operational responsiveness;and,
15 WHEREAS, the LRPD has a need to purchase sixteen (16) Motorola APX6500 Single-Band P25
16 Mobile Radios from Motorolas Solutions, Inc., with supporting software and components to equip new
17 patrol units in LRPD's Vehicle Fleet; and,
18 WHEREAS, pursuant to Little Rock, Ark. Resolution No. 16,603 (February 18, 2025), as amended,
19 vendor selection was made utilizing Sourcewell cooperative purchasing agreement Contract No. 042021-
20 MOT.
21 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
22 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS;
23 Section 1.The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Motorola Solutions,Inc. for the
24 purchase of sixteen(16)Motorola APX6500 Single-Band P25 Mobile Radios at a total cost of One Hundred
25 Eighteen Thousand Eight Hundred Ninety-One and 19/100 Dollars ($118,891.19), plus applicable taxes
26 and fees.
27 Section 2. Funding for this expenditure is available from Federal Asset Forfeiture (Justice) Account
28 No. 270529-60200-G35147.
29 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
30 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
31 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
32 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
33 resolution.

1 Section 4.Repealer.All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
2 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
